Corrie's exercise of the week

Hi there! Hope everyone's having an awesome week! This week I focused all my classes on partner workouts. It's fun to see my students encourage and push each other during their workouts. Sometimes there's nothing like being motivated by a teammate who knows exactly how much pain you're in!

Here's one of my favorite partner workouts that you can do anywhere with no equipment! I like to call this the sit-up/push-up turn and burn. One person will start being the "push-up" guy and the other will start being the "sit-up" guy. The push-ups in this exercise will be counted in pairs of two. So, you and your partner will do: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 18, 16, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2 push ups. To begin, your partner will do 2 push-ups while you continuously do sit-ups until he/she is finished, then you will do your 2 push-ups while your partner switches to do sit-ups. You and your partner will go back and forth with this pattern until you finish your push-ups! It sounds like a lot of push-ups, but you'll be done before you know it! It's a great way to sculpt your arms, chest and abs.

See you soon!
Corrie
